DUBAI, August 25, 2026 — Dubai delivered 104 real estate projects worth AED111 billion (approximately $30 billion) during the first half of 2026, adding more than 24,000 residential and commercial units to the emirate’s property market.
The figures highlight the scale of construction and development activity across Dubai, with major projects progressing across residential, commercial and mixed-use segments.
More Than 24,000 Units Added
The 104 completed projects represent a significant addition to Dubai’s real estate supply, supporting continued growth in the emirate’s property and construction sectors.
The delivery of more than 24,000 units is expected to expand available housing and commercial space while supporting demand generated by population growth, business activity and continued investment in the emirate.
The volume of completed projects also demonstrates the capacity of Dubai’s construction and development ecosystem to deliver large-scale projects across multiple market segments.
Strong Construction and Development Pipeline
Dubai’s real estate market continues to be supported by a substantial pipeline of residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use developments.
For developers and construction companies, the scale of project delivery is creating opportunities across building materials, construction equipment, engineering services, building technologies, property management and infrastructure.
The completion of major projects also supports activity throughout the wider construction supply chain, from contractors and consultants to suppliers of mechanical, electrical and building systems.
Investment and Market Activity
The latest delivery figures reinforce Dubai’s position as one of the Middle East’s most active real estate and construction markets.
Large-scale developments are increasingly incorporating advanced building systems, digital construction technologies, energy-efficient infrastructure and smart-building solutions as developers seek to improve operational performance and long-term asset value.
The continued delivery of projects will also contribute to demand for supporting infrastructure and services as new residential and commercial communities become operational.
Opportunities for the Construction Industry
The scale of development creates opportunities for companies involved in construction, engineering, architecture, building materials, equipment, smart buildings, HVAC, electrical systems and property technology.
With more than 24,000 units added during the first half of the year, the market is generating activity beyond the initial construction phase, including facilities management, maintenance, energy management and building services.
Dubai’s project pipeline therefore continues to provide a significant market for international and regional construction and engineering companies.
